School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is one of the largest and oldest school in CCIT(hereafter referred to as SEEE). Its predecessor is the radio department of the old Changzhou Radio Industry School. In March 2002, the department split into the department of Electronic Information Engineering and the Department of Automatic Control Engineering. Six years later, the two departments re-integrated and renamed itself as theSchool of Electrical and Electrical Engineering.

SEEE has long sticked to and put into practice the principle of conjoin the humanities and sciences to innovate and make a difference", promoting the spirit of teamwork and innovation, as well as a student-centered approach of education and management.

SEEE has set up 8 teaching and research braches of electrical and electronic engineering and two research institutes. Adhering to the "three-axis linkage " model of "enterprise - school - enterprise " to carry out school-enterprise cooperation, SEEE has established in-depth cooperation with Germany's Siemens and other well-known international companies, setting up training centers such as Siemens Automation Center, the US NI training center, the US ALTERA training center, Taiwan Advantech Technology Training Center, authorizing 16 training courses and issuing of related technical qualifications. Meanwhile, SEEE also works closely with the local equipment manufacturing enterprises, setting up 8 modern control technology&electronic information technology training center, 47 training rooms and 2 "on-campus factories" as well as over 80 off-campus practice training bases which have become authorized training centers of Siemens, the US NI, Advantech and other companies.
