Our College Successfully Held the Fourth Sino-foreign Cultural Exchange Festival

On November 5th, "One World One CCIT", the Fourth Sino-foreign Cultural Exchange Festival of Changzhou College of Information Technology, was grandly held on the square in front of the No.1 canteen. Vice President Sui Bixia attended the opening ceremony of the Cultural Festival and delivered a speech. More than 50 international students from 14 countries including South Africa, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Kazakhstan attended the festivities, and more than 70 international students, who were temporarily outside of China because of the COVID-2019, took part in the festivities online.

The opening ceremony of the Sino-foreign Cultural Festivals began with the enthusiastic dance of South African students. Following the dance was a French song, which put the audience in a romantic melody. Two students from Bangladesh and Kazakhstan performed a crosstalk "Guessing", which sparked off laughter and laughter from the audience. The music of Chinese student band pushed the cultural festival to a climax. A Chinese love song sung by a Congolese student amazed the students, and the ballad chorus of Bangladeshi students brought exotic sweetness to the audience. With the singing of the College Choir, the Cultural Festival came to an end.

Cultural festivities also include multi-cultural display. Chinese students dressed in Han Costumes attracted the attention of many international students, who were eager to take photos with them one after another. Various interactive devices and delicate and lovely decorations were also provided at the venue.

"One World One CCIT" is an international cultural credit meticulously created by our college in recent years, and has become an annual cultural event. With the philosophy of diversity and inclusiveness, and the festival builds a platform for international students from all over the world to display their culture and exchange with others. It is also an important window for Chinese students to create an international image. This Sino-foreign Cultural Exchange Festival was hosted by School of International Education, which provided a big stage for Chinese and foreign students to show their artistic talents, and also gave the Chinese students an opportunity to perceive the cultural and artistic charm of other nations in the world, strengthened the cultural exchanges between Chinese and foreign youth, and increased the international atmosphere of the campus culture.
